I Can Hear You Calling - TRAILER (2012)

I Can Hear You Calling is a portrait of eight musicians and their bands in New York City. It reveals the public and private layers of their lives and the ways they intersect. Often unpolished and frank, the film takes you through quiet kitchens to gentle rehearsals to soaring onstage performances for an unusually vulnerable bed of eclectic and visceral modern music.

A concert film featuring the music and performances of Beyondo, Hi/Lo Fi, Michael Leonhart & the Avramina 7, Minerva Lions, Thought, Smoota, Knights On Earth, and Superhuman Happiness. The concert was a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of the musicians to be together at one time, and was captured at just the right moment in each of the bands musical careers. The film captures each bands live set and takes you backstage to sit with musicians who tour all over the world and whose passion lives in the bands they've developed back at home in New York City. Their stories are as diverse as their music.
